biography
Patrick was born in Beckley, West Virginia in 1979. The eldest of three siblings, he was raised in Marion, Ohio. It was there that Patrick began performing at the age of 8. He made his theatrical debut as a tunic-clad trumpeteer in Cinderella at Marion's historic Palace Theatre.
Upon completing his studies at River Valley High School, he attended Syracuse University as a musical theatre major. At Syracuse, Patrick studied under the guidance of David Wanstreet and Rodney Scott Hudson, among others. Summers during this time were spent working at New Century Theatre, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, and East Carolina Summer Theatre.
After graduating with a BFA in musical theatre, Patrick joined the national tour of Titanic as Lookout-Frederick Fleet. His travels took him from Maine to Alaska and back. In 2002, Patrick moved to New York where he has kept busy as an actor, singer, dancer and spokesperson.
In 2006, Patrick stepped into the world of writing with his satirical blog, Greatness with Garrigan Gumption. The blog opened the door for Patrick's first book, Guerrilla Marketing for Dummies which he co-authored with friend and marketing guru, Jonathan Margolis. The book combines marketing know-how, a hefty dose of creativity and a pinch of comical analogy. It is currently avialable at Amazon and your local bookseller. Since it's 2008 release the book has been translated into Dutch, German & Portuguese.
Currently, Patrick makes his home on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It is here that he enjoys writing, watching CNN, & cheap mussels. He looks forward to getting a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel very soon....
